What sets us apart is our dedication to exceeding expectations while protecting the environment. We understand and value the key roles each creature plays in our ecosystem, which is why we practice Integrated Pest Management techniques. We recognize that advancements in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, entomology, environmental engineering, plant sciences, environmental sciences, green technology, and related fields all start with a focus on education. We are always looking for ways to foster growth and opportunity within the industry and the communities we serve.
Brad Thorstenson, President of Interstate Pest Management, has created a merit-based scholarship fund for individuals seeking undergraduate or graduate-level education in environmental studies or related fields. The scholarship will be awarded based on:
- Passion for the environment and advancement of green technology
- Academic excellence
- Pursuit of education in environmental studies at an accredited college or university
- Attending an academic institution in Washington or Oregon
The student who shows all four of these qualifications will be awarded $500 for the academic year. The scholarship will last for the duration of one year and be paid directly to the winning candidate to use towards tuition and board during the fall semester.
